Our stay at Chateau De Vauchelles was simply enchanting. The hosts' dedication to preserving their family's legacy was evident in every corner of the 17th-century residence. The tour of the reception rooms and lush gardens, complete with an inviting outdoor pool, was a delightful way to immerse ourselves in the chateau's rich history.The beautifully restored rooms, each offering a view of the garden and a cozy fireplace, provided a luxurious and comfortable retreat for our family of five. We were treated to a delicious full French breakfast in the charming dining room, a true highlight of our stay. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel truly special.Located a short distance from Amiens and the A16 motorway, Chateau De Vauchelles offers both tranquility and convenience. We particularly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, with tours and ticket assistance readily available. The array of activities, including billiards and BBQ facilities, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. To the superb amenities, the proximity to local supermarkets and restaurants allowed us to sample the best of French cuisine. Our host even recommended a fantastic restaurant, Restaurant du Canard, where we enjoyed an exceptional meal. From the stunning chateau grounds to the luxurious rooms and impeccable service, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and unforgettable retreat in the heart of the French countryside.
